On the strength of previous work for various companies within the Virgin Group, WDL were chosen to design a new estate of lifestyle health clubs for Virgin Active.
10 years on Virgin Active have over 150 clubs worldwide and WDL remain the preferred designers for the UK estate of over 70 clubs.
RFU Health club, Twickenham
Following a research visit by the RFU to Virgin Active clubs in South Africa, WDL were appointed as Interior Architects to design a Health Club under the new South stand of the famous stadium.
The 3 storey, 4,400 sq m club has a 14m high climb wall, central to the layout, along with all the 5 star facilities normally associated with a Virgin Active Classic Club.
